Ishaq Dar Appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – In a new development, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has been appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan as per the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The notification regarding the appointment of FM Ishaq Dar as the Deputy Prime Minister was released on Sunday.

The notification read, “The Prime Minister has been pleased to designate Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, as Deputy Prime Minister with immediate effect until further orders.”
