Man’s Dead Body Found Hanging From a Bridge in I-9, Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – In a shocking incident, a young man’s body has been found hanging from a pedestrian bridge near the I-9 sector Islamabad Expressway. The body was found hours after his death.

A man’s body was found hanging from a bridge in Islamabad. However, it was not discovered for quite some time due to dense fog in the area.

As the fog dissipated, the local people saw the body and notified the authorities. Shortly after, police officials from Aabpara police station arrived and on-site investigations started.

The body was identified and is of Umar Shaham, 30 years old from Mardan’s Katlang area but resident of i9-1, Islamabad. The police tried to get in touch with the family but no contact could be made. 

After the initial investigation, the authorities state that it appears to be a suicide case as there’s no signs of struggle or any blunt force trauma.

The body was sent to PIMS hospital for post-mortem as many suspected this could be an act of murder as well.
