LAHORE: An air ambulance service in Punjab successfully carried a patient during its test flight.
According to details, a resident of Mianwali received life-threatening injuries after she fell from a roof. Halima Bibi, 40, was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Mianwali where doctors recommended her immediate transfer to Rawalpindi for proper treatment.
The patient was then carried to the garrison city following instructions from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who ordered her swift transfer via the newly-launched air ambulance service.
The patient had her surgery under the supervision of Dr. Nasir. She was being given post-op care at the time of this writing. Her family expressed their gratitude to the chief minister.
“Whoever saved one life saved the life of the entire humanity, I followed the order of Allah and am thankful that we were able to help, my heartfelt wish. I want to end this problem. The suffering of every citizen,” CM Maryam said in a message.
