In an update that might surprise many people, Toyota Pakistan has discontinued the petrol variant of the super popular Hilux pickup truck.
The popular car maker is only offering the Hilux “Revo” and “Vigo” variants with diesel engines. The company attributed its decision to little demand for Hilux petrol.
Diesel variants are known for their better fuel efficiency and torque, which are crucial for heavy duty applications. This trend made it logical for Toyota to phase out the petrol version, effectively saying goodbye to a less favored option.
