Chevening Scholarhip Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to making a positive impact in their home country and explain how a UK Master’s degree will help them achieve this. The scholarships are aimed at individuals from diverse backgrounds who show potential for leadership.

How to Apply

First, you need to submit academic transcripts, a short biography essay, a certificate of achievement, and two letters of recommendation.

Eligible candidates must be citizens of a Chevening-eligible country, hold an undergraduate degree, have at least two years of work experience, and meet English language requirements.

The scholarship covers tuition fees, travel costs, a monthly living stipend, and additional grants for thesis and dissertation work. Applications are submitted online, and those shortlisted will be invited for an interview. Given the competitive nature of the scholarship, only 2% to 3% of applicants are selected.

While the scholarship allows for full-time work in the UK, additional funds will be needed for post-graduation expenses, as the scholarship does not include a post-graduation allowance.
