NED university students looted in broad daylight in Karachi

KARACHI – Robbers looted three students of the NED University of Engineering and Technology in broad daylight in southern port city of Karachi.

The students were deprived of their university fee, hostel charges, identity cards, mobile phones and others by the robbers when they came out of the university for breakfast.

They were robbed outside the main gate of the university. Reports said the NED students are forced to come out of the university for buying food due to closure of canteen.

The Mobeena Town Police have registered a case against unknown suspects, and the search for the perpetrators is underway.

Street crimes in Karachi are on rampant for years with police struggling to curb it.
