Petrol Price remains unchanged; Diesel increased by Rs5per litre from Oct 16

The federal government announced that the price of petrol will remain unchanged, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will see an increase of Rs5 per liter.

A notification from the Finance Ministry confirmed that petrol is now priced at Rs247.03 per liter, with the new price for high-speed diesel set at Rs251.29 per liter.

Earlier reports suggested a potential increase of Rs5 per liter for petrol and Rs10 for diesel due to changes in the global oil market. However, the government decided to keep petrol prices stable amid these fluctuations.
