Punjab CM launches Green Tractor Scheme – Check winners list

LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated the Green Tractors Scheme for farmers in the province.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the chief said 9,500 farmers will receive a subsidy of Rs1 million for each tractor under the scheme.

She also announced that one thousand green tractors will be provided free of cost to wheat farmers with twenty to fifty acres of land through a balloting process.

The Chief Minister said improving the lives of farmers is government’s top priority.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz Sharif reviewed the balloting process and was also given a briefing on the transparent procedure.

The Chief Minister congratulated the lucky farmers who will receive tractors through the balloting held in Lahore on Friday.
