To help the youth become financially independent, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has opened an online platform for loan disbursement under the “Ehsaas Nojawan” scheme.
Young people can apply for interest-free loans online through the program. Under the three-year, Rs3 billion Ehsaas Nojawan scheme, interest-free loans will be made available in partnership with the Bank of Khyber.
Groups of three to five young individuals, aged 18 to 35, will be eligible to apply for loans ranging from Rs1 million to Rs5 million.
With a simple repayment plan, the loans can be paid back over a maximum of eight years. In order to give young people more chances, CM Gandapur also started the Chief Minister Youth Internship Program.

Gandapur emphasised during the occasion that efforts were being made to fulfil PTI founder Imran Khan’s aim of empowering the country.
He stressed that public welfare projects were being started in spite of budgetary difficulties and promised to help with the construction of homes for the homeless.
Gandapur emphasised that his government wanted to encourage young people to start their own enterprises instead of accepting low-paying positions.
He promised that the administration will give young people with creative ideas the chance to contribute to the advancement and development of the nation.
