A training session under the Chief Minister’s Internship Programme was conducted at the Central Station Chowk Kumharan Wala by Rescue 1122.
The initiative, led by District Emergency Officer Dr Hussain Mian, aims to equip participants with essential first-aid skills and emergency management techniques.
The training covers advanced medical equipment usage, CPR for cardiac arrest, methods to control bleeding, and other critical life saving procedures.
hrOnce trained, participants will be stationed across the city for practical exposure to real-life emergencies.
During the launch session, Dr Hussain Mian administered an oath to the interns, emphasising the importance of humanitarian service.
He praised their enthusiasm and described them as valuable assets to society. “This training is a key step toward creating a safer and more prepared community,” he noted.
Participants expressed appreciation for Rescue 1122’s efforts to promote preparedness and volunteerism.
This programme underscores the organisation’s commitment to fostering a culture of readiness and empowering the youth to contribute to community welfare during emergencies.
