The University of Home Economics (UHE) has officially received approval from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to offer an MS program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
This program will be launched through the university’s Department of Psychology. UHE’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi has appointed Dr. Ayesha Sarfraz the department’s in-charge to oversee the admission process for the upcoming spring session.
This new program will mark the university’s fourth postgraduate offering. Currently, UHE offers MS and MPhil degrees in Sociology, Food and Nutrition, and Art and Design.
The introduction of the MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology adds to UHE’s expanding range of advanced degrees, providing more opportunities for students in the fields of psychology and organizational development.
The addition of this MS program demonstrates UHE’s commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the job market. The program is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to contribute to the growth and development of organizations by providing an in-depth understanding of human behavior in the workplace.
This step aligns with UHE’s mission to offer quality education and support the professional development of students. As UHE prepares to launch this new academic offering the department will begin accepting applications for the spring session.
This will give students the opportunity to enroll in one of the country’s most sought-after fields of study.
