Sindh announces advance salary for Eid

The Sindh government has announced that salaries for its employees will be paid in advance on March 21 to help them prepare for Eid.

A notification has been issued confirming this decision.Ramadan 2025 is being observed across Pakistan with fasting and worship, while anticipation for Eid-ul-Fitr grows. The Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council predicts that Eid will be celebrated on March 31, 2025. The Shawwal moon is expected to be visible on March 30 in most parts of the country.

Experts say the moon will be over 26 hours old by Sunday evening, making it easily visible. Since the moon needs to be at least 18 hours old to be seen at sunset, this condition will be met across Pakistan on March 30.

The government continues to make arrangements for the smooth celebration of Eid, ensuring convenience for citizens during the festive period.
