Hot spell continues in Lahore

Residents of Lahore are expected to experience sunny weather with a light breeze over the next two days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

However, light rain with wind or thunderstorms is likely in isolated areas of Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, and nearby regions. In major cities, weather conditions are expected to remain stable. In Karachi, the minimum temperature may stay around 22°C, while the maximum could reach up to 37°C. Humidity levels are recorded at over 59%, with only a 1% chance of rainfall. The dry and warm conditions are expected to continue throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Lahore is experiencing a relatively pleasant day. The temperature is recorded at 29°C with 0% precipitation chances. Humidity is around 52%, and winds are blowing at a light speed of 5 km/h. No rainfall is expected in the city today.

Residents in northern areas are advised to stay cautious due to the possibility of light rain and sudden weather changes. Authorities recommend carrying light jackets at night, especially in hilly areas, where temperatures can drop sharply.

PMD has urged people to remain updated through official forecasts, especially those planning travel to northern parts. The weather is expected to remain mostly dry for the next few days, with a slight chance of rain in specific upper regions.
