PTA offers free mobile registration for overseas pakistanis

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has introduced the Temporary Mobile Registration System to facilitate overseas Pakistanis and foreign nationals visiting the country.

The registration process is fully online and simple. Visitors can complete it easily by using the official Device Registration System (DRS) portal at https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk/drs. No paperwork or long procedures are needed, making it very convenient for travelers. This step is taken to make sure that visitors enjoy easy communication during their stay in Pakistan. It will also protect them from any kind of fraud or mobile service issues. Each time a visitor enters Pakistan, they can register their mobile again for free, valid for 120 days per visit.

PTA said it is committed to providing efficient, creative, and user-friendly services for everyone. With this facility, tourists and overseas Pakistanis will not face any hurdles in staying connected with their families and work.

Officials added that by maintaining high standards of quality, PTA wants to make the communication experience smooth and dependable for all visitors. They encouraged visitors to register their phones soon after landing to avoid any disruption in mobile services.

This initiative is also expected to promote tourism and improve the image of Pakistan as a visitor-friendly country. PTA hopes that visitors will feel more comfortable and secure during their time in Pakistan because of this new system. Visitors are advised to visit the DRS portal and complete the registration to enjoy uninterrupted mobile connectivity without any extra cost.
