Is there a Holiday on 9th Nov in Pakistan?

With regards to 9th November, Iqbal day, the government of Pakistan has issued a holiday for Iqbal Day. The official notification states that 9th November, 2023. Thursday will be an official holiday.

There had been several rumours if there would be a holiday on 9th November 2023 or not. However, notification has been issued by the Cabinet Division for the holiday.

Iqbal is the national poet of Pakistan who dreamt of our Nation, a separate Nation for Muslims. In this regard 9th November is the Date of birth of our National poet and has been announced as a holiday by the Government.
