Sui northern starts new gas connection applications

The Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) has announced the start of its application process for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) connections for domestic consumers.

Applicants must submit their national identity cards and property documents, which will be used for verification and approval of the request. In addition, SNGC has assured customers who had previously submitted demand notices that their cases will be processed on priority. To make the process smoother, a separate online link has been created for these customers, helping them avoid delays.

Connection Charges and Application Process

• Security deposit (refundable): Rs20000
• Serviceline cost: Rs1500 for houses up to 10 Marla, and Rs3000 for houses above 10 Marla
• Urgent application fee: Rs25000 for fast-track processing

Consumers applying for new connections will be required to submit their online consent and fill out application forms. They also have the option to visit nearby SNGC offices for assistance. The new guidelines are aimed at making the process of applying for gas connections easier, transparent, and more efficient. Authorities have emphasized that priority handling for existing demand notice holders and the introduction of a fast-track service will help reduce waiting time and bring greater convenience to customers.
