NADRA has launched a new appointment booking feature on the Pak ID mobile app, allowing citizens across the country to easily book visits to service centers.
Officials advised applicants to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled time to ensure smooth processing. The new feature is designed to reduce long queues and waiting hours, a common issue at NADRA centers. With this system, people can now schedule appointments from home, making the process more convenient and efficient.
The Pak ID app already provides several services, including applying for new, renewed, or modified CNICs and NICOPs. Users can also complete biometric verification, upload documents, and make online payments through the app. The addition of the appointment feature is expected to further improve the overall user experience.
Alongside this step, NADRA has also upgraded its online fee payment system. Citizens in Pakistan and abroad can now pay for their identity documents more easily using multiple digital platforms. The system supports payments for Smart National Identity Cards (SNIC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC), and Family Registration Certificates (FRC) through Easypaisa, JazzCash, or e-Sahulat.
According to NADRA, this modernization aims to enhance transparency and accessibility while making services more user-friendly. The combination of appointment scheduling and online payments reflects a significant move towards digital transformation in public services. With these initiatives, NADRA hopes to save citizens’ time, reduce stress at service centers, and make identity-related services more efficient and accessible across the country.
