NADRA new Family Registration Certificate fee  [November 2023 update]

NADRA’s family registration certificate is an important document. The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) issues this certificate after some documentation and verification. There are also service fees for FRC which change from time to time. Let’s have a look at the new Family Registration Certificate fee in Pakistan for November 2023.

What are the types of FRC

FRC is a family registration certificate. It is a document that gives information about the candidate’s family. However, it can be of many types, as the candidate might be married and from having a mother and a father, the candidate might also have kids or an adoption in the family. This makes it tough for one certificate to hold information of all members. Therefore, NADRA has split the documents into three categories. The three types of FRCs are.

1. By Birth – This FRC gives information about your parents and siblings.
2. By Marriage – This FRC gives information about your spouse and children.
3. By Adoption – If a candidate is adopted or has an adopted family member, this document gives information about that.

Note: Keep in mind that if a family member doesn’t have a 13-digit NADRA number, their information will not be shown in the document.

How to apply for FRC Online in Pakistan, November 2023

Family Registration Certificate can be obtained via physical attendance at the nearest NADRA center or Online as well. NADRA has introduced a new Pakistan Identity Portal through which you can make an FRC online through NADRA. Just go to Pakistan Identity Portal and login and register or login if you have an existing account. All the required documents are mentioned on NADRA’s Pak ID portal where you can submit the documents and receive your FRC via email.

The fee for FRC keeps on changing as NADRA keeps updating their fees. As per the new update from NADRA of November 2023, the new fee for FRC for both categories standard and executive stands at Rs 1,000 as per the November 2023 update.
