US President Donald Trump has stated that he is considering multiple options regarding Iran, including the possibility of military action.
While speaking to the media during his return to Washington from Florida, he said that the US military is already reviewing several possible actions. According to Trump, the situation in Iran has become increasingly concerning, as recent developments suggest that Tehran may be crossing what he described as his red line. He added that people who should not have been harmed appear to have been killed, prompting the US administration to reassess its strategy.
Furthermore, the president stated that the United States is exploring the possibility of restoring internet access in Iran. He said discussions with tech entrepreneur Elon Musk may take place soon to evaluate whether American support can help reconnect Iranian citizens during ongoing unrest.
Trump emphasized that both the White House and the military leadership are treating the matter with utmost seriousness. He noted that multiple strong options are being examined and that Washington is prepared to respond decisively if needed.
Shifting to regional diplomacy, the US president also shared updates on relations with Venezuela. He said progress is being made with the Venezuelan leadership and expressed hope for a positive outcome. A meeting with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina is expected on Tuesday or Wednesday to continue political discussions.
Meanwhile, Trump reiterated his long-standing interest in Greenland, stating that he believes the territory should be managed by the United States. He confirmed that conversations regarding Greenland’s possible acquisition are ongoing within the administration.
