As the scandal concerning issuance of fake certificates and mark sheets by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpurkhas keeps unfolding, a Naukot based school has alleged that 463 fake certificates have been issued in its name alone.
Pakistan faces a major fake certificates scandal in Sindh. Thar Higher Secondary School owner Ahsanullah Bhatti reveals shocking details. Fraudsters issued 463 fake papers using his school’s name from 2021 to 2025. These include 375 intermediate certificates and 88 matric ones. School records show no trace of these roll numbers.
Bhatti found two odd certificates last year. He reported them to board controller Anwar Aleem Khanzada. Authorities took no action then. BISE Mirpurkhas Chairman Col (R) Dr Syed Muhammad Alamdar Raza exposed bigger fraud. The board issued 2,539 fake certificates in the same period. They published a full list of fake roll numbers.
Police cracked the case open. They arrested secret branch staffer Azam Khan on March 16. Officers suspended several officials, including Khanzada. Questioning revealed bribes from Rs50,000 to Rs500,000. Corrupt staff sold fake records, boosted marks, and stamped official papers.
Son of MQM-P MNA Abdul Aleem Khanzada, Khanzada sits at scandal’s heart. Authorities suspended him on March 9. Board allegedly printed mark sheets, final certificates, and migration docs with the school’s name. Bhatti offers full help to investigators.
Fraud hurts his school’s good name badly. Sindh government forms high-level team to dig deeper. Probe widens daily as more victims surface. Students and parents suffer most. Fake papers mislead colleges and jobs. Public demands quick justice and stricter checks.
Education boards promise tighter systems soon. Nation watches closely. Cleaning education fraud builds trust in degrees.
