LESCO releases electricity outage plan for different regions

LESCO announces scheduled power cuts across multiple areas in Lahore and nearby regions on April 26.

The company plans these interruptions to perform essential maintenance on its electric distribution network. This work aims to boost system performance and ensure reliable supply for residents. Power shuts off from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm in areas fed by Sarfaraz Grid feeders.

These include Yousaf Chakwal, Ijaz Textile, Unilever, Abu Bakar, Ghani Gas, Sarfaraz, Yaqoob, ARK, Nishat Chunian, Shah Taj, Mezan Beverage, Medi Gas, KRK, Golden Textile, and Ravi Imran, along with surrounding neighborhoods. Meanwhile, Shadman faces outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Chunian, Ghazi Fabrics, and Nishat Chunian consumer grid station areas also lose power from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Additionally, Qurtaba, Rewaz Garden in Lahore Cantonment, Rehman Park, Gulshan Ravi, and Bhati Gate experience cuts from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. The outages extend to KRK, Raiwind, Lalyani, Khuddian, Allahabad, Bhai Pheru, Chak 65, Manga Mandi, Punjab Small Industrial Area, Mandi Ahmadabad, Kanganpur, Pattoki, Chinar Bagh, Kasur, and Central Park grid stations from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. LESCO urges residents in these zones to prepare ahead. Stock up on essentials, charge devices, and plan accordingly during these six-hour windows.

As a result, the maintenance promises smoother operations and fewer unexpected blackouts in the future. Stay updated via official channels for any changes. Safe planning keeps daily life running smoothly despite the brief disruptions.
