Govt shares new plan for Punjab summer holidays

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat on Tuesday said that a final decision regarding summer vacations in schools across the province will be taken after May 15, amid discussions on reducing holidays to cover academic losses.

He stated that no final dates exist yet for summer vacations. The government will decide in mid-May after checking weather and other factors. In addition, leaders plan to cut summer holidays by 15 to 20 days this year. This step makes up for lost class time from past disruptions.
