The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, together with ISPR, launched the picture book Maarka-e-Haq at Pakistan China Friendship Centre.
This vibrant book tells Pakistan’s story through images and words. It covers the nation’s birth, tough conflicts, and defense wins, with special focus on the Battle of Truth that showed people’s strength and army unity. DEMP and ISPR created the book jointly.
A video review screened key chapters, tracing Pakistan from independence to recent triumphs. The event highlighted resilience against challenges like partition chaos, Kashmir disputes, and Indian interference in Balochistan. Lieutenant General Aamer Riaz (Retd) praised the book as timely and valuable.
He urged a digital version for global reach to share Pakistan’s view. He recalled roots in 1857 War, Iqbal’s vision, and Muslim League efforts leading to 1947 freedom. MNA Nafisa Shah noted Pakistan’s global role, from Afghan refugee aid to anti-terror fights. She called Maarka-e-Haq a defining moment of bravery and diplomacy. She labeled India’s May 6-7 attack cowardly and past events like Pulwama as false flags.
Senator Palwasha Khan celebrated exposing false stories under Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s lead. She rejected Akhand Bharat as baseless myth used for division. Muhammad Zarain Khan Magsi said the book builds resolve and honors sacrifices. It stresses faith, patience, and courage.
Federal Minister Khawaja Asif and Attaullah Tarar spoke too. Senior officials attended, including Secretary Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil. Screenings featured Operation Bunyan al-Marsus documentary on key successes. Speakers stressed ongoing vigilance: It is not over yet. We must stay ready. The launch preserves history, boosts pride, and unites the nation for future strength.
