Pakistan’s Hajj flight operation is now in its final stage.
In the past month, 388 government flights transported 103513 pilgrims. This is about 87 percent of the total for the scheme. The rest of the 13 percent or the remaining 15321 pilgrims will arrive in the coming 96 hours, officials say. This will make sure all government trips wrap up before the Hajj rites begin on the night of Dhul Hijjah 7th/8th.
As of today, 184 flights have landed in Madinah and 229 flights have landed in Jeddah. As a result, most pilgrims have moved to Makkah. Indeed, 95% of the pilgrims who arrived are now in Makkah (98,823), and 5% (4,690) are still in Madinah.
Additionally, 46,398 pilgrims took direct flights to Madinah. Of these, 41708 have already visited there and undertaken a journey to Makkah. Besides, 57,115 pilgrims arrived in Makkah from Jeddah.
The Pakistan Hajj mission said it was able to return 4,308 Riyals to a pilgrim in Makkah. Meanwhile, the welfare staff deployment is 96 percent. This includes 921 Hajj assistants, 178 Khuddam, and 418 medical team members. They are extending their help to the pilgrims from sector to sector.
Haram Guides have helped 20,698 pilgrims around the Grand Mosque. In Madinah, Riaz has seen 18156 female and 20438 male pilgrims. Riaz, Madinah sees 18156 women and 20,438 men.
In Makkah, authorities have expanded shuttle services to 469 buses to ease transportation. These buses are in operation throughout the night and are most active in Sector 1, Sector 7, and Sector 8.
