New Learner and Driving License fee in Rawalpindi from January 1, 2024

LAHORE – The Lahore Traffic Police has informed the citizens that there will be a massive increase in driving license fees by the government. Authorities suggest that there’s an approximate rise of almost 1566% in the new license fees.

The new announcement came in the wake of masses going to Driving centres to obtain a driving license after the Punjab government started a crackdown against individuals driving on the roads without a valid driving license.

Driving license is crucial for an individual who’s practically driving on the roads of Pakistan. As authorities are taking strict measures for people driving without a license, it’s imperative that you apply for a License, if you don’t already have one. 

New fee for Car, Motorcycle Learner in Rawalpindi January 2023

As of now, the fee for a car and motorcycle Learner in Rawalpindi stands at Rs 60. However, the government has massively increased the price of learner and new driving license. The new fee is going to be effective from January 1, 2024 and will be Rs 1,000. 

The government has given some time for individuals to get their licenses as fast as possible in this month of December as the new fee is going to be Rs 1,000 effective from January 1, 2024.
