Cooking Oil, Ghee see massive drop in price, Check latest prices here

ISLAMABAD – The government has announced a massive drop in cooking oil and ghee prices in Pakistan. Even though the inflation rate has been at an all-time high in Pakistan, the drop in ghee and oil prices have relieved the citizens.

As December hits, the cooking oil and ghee prices have seen an average drop of Rs 50 per kilogram as several brands have reduced their prices.

On Thursday, the utility stores announced the recent drop in prices and it can be observed that all the major brands showed a drop in oil prices dropping from Rs 520, Rs 550, Rs 540 to Rs 450, Rs470, and RS 420 respectively.

Sources report that the price of ghee has seen a major drop and the new price stands roughly Rs 482 per kg while the price of cooking oil stands was reduced by Rs 50 per kilogram as well.

The new prices have been implemented at all Utility Stores. Our source from USC states that the government is also on the lookout to reduce prices of numerous other commodities to facilitate the citizens at this dire time of inflation.
