LAHORE – All individuals who wish to work in Qatar must have a protector stamp on their passport. The Protector stamp is checked by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) at the Airport.
This is very beneficial for citizens of Pakistan as this allows them to have assistance from their country and complete legal protection.
They can get legal assistance at the Pakistan attache Embassy located in that country. Moreover, this also provides them with a valuable life insurance upto Rs 1 million.

Protector fee in Pakistan for Oman Work visa
The applicant must deposit a fee of Rs 2,500 for the lump sum insurance of Rs 1 million. This is valid for 5 years. Moreover, each applicant must also pay a Rs 2,000 fee for Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF Welfare Fund). There’s a Rs 2,500 registration fee and service costs amount upto Rs 200. To break it down, the below mentioned fees are for Saudi work visa in Pakistan:
Life insurance fee : Rs 2,500
OPF : Rs 2,000
Registration fee : Rs 2,500
OEC fee : Rs 200
Total fee : Rs 7,200
