Ameer Balaj Tipu Son of Tipu Truckanwala Shot Dead Near Thokar Niaz Beg Neighbourhood, Lahore

LAHORE – Balaj Tipu, the son of the famous Tipu Truckanwala, was shot dead near Thokar Nez Beg Neighbourhood in Lahore by an unknown gunman.

Sources reported that Balaj Tipu had recently joined PMLN and was gunned during a wedding ceremony by an unknown attacker in Thokar Niaz Beg neighbourhood Lahore.

Police have started the investigations as his father Tipu Truckanwala was also shot dead in 2010 at Allama Iqbal International Airport.

According to reports, Balaj died on the spot while two of his people also sustained gunfire wounds and were taken to the hospital.

The assailant couldn’t get away as well as due to the crossfire between Balaj’s security personnel and the gunman, the assailant was also killed on the spot.

Police are investigating to see if this is a long chain of killings based on the elections or PMLN agenda or if it’s something else.

It could also lead to major gang wars as the recent attack on Balaj that has taken his life may date back as far as his grandfather Billa Truckanwala who was shot dead in 1996.
