KARACHI – The Sindh government has removed Khadim Rind as Karachi police chief replacing him with Imran Yaqoob Minhas.
The provincial government has issued a notification in this regard stating that Rind, a grade-21 officer, has been appointed as Additional Inspector general of Police operations.
Imran Yaqoob, who is serving as additional inspector general of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), has been given the additional charge of AIG Karachi till further orders.
The notification further said that additional responsibilities have been taken back from AIG Finance, Logistics and Welfare Muzzafar Ali Sheikh.
