These Peoples Bus Service Routes will be suspended in Karachi on Ashura

KARACHI: The Peoples Bus Service won’t run on selected routes during Ashura Muharram 2024.

Peoples Bus Service is a popular public transport that serves several important routes in the port city. It currently has five buses (EV, PPB, Pink, Red, Green) transporting approximately 100,000 commuters on a daily basis.

Peoples Bus Service is currently operated by the National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) under the auspices of Sindh Mass Transit Authority.

Karachi’s traffic police have notified their traffic plan for Ashura Muharram 2024, and it mentions the routes that will remain suspended due to processions.
