ChatGPT Plus Prices may soon double

OpenAI plans to raise the price of ChatGPT by 10% this year and increase it to $44 over the next five years.

The company MSFT OpenAI, supported by Microsoft Corp., has notified investors that its monthly sales hit $300 million in August, a 1,700% rise from the beginning of 2023. The New York Times stated that the corporation anticipates $3.7 billion in sales this year.

For ChatGPT Plus subscribers, OpenAI currently charges $20 a month. By the end of this year, it might rise to $22, and over the next five years, it might more than double to $44, according to the analysis.

OpenAI expects a $5 billion loss this year despite the spike in income because of operating expenses, personnel pay, and office space. Other noteworthy costs and equity-based remuneration are not included in these calculations.
