Bomb defused by Bomb Squad at Adyala Road, Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: In a swift action by the Bomb squad, several explosives were defused recently at Adyala Road, Rawalpindi. The device was encapsulated in a blue plastic bag found on the premises of Adyala road by the general public.

Just now, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, The Bomb Disposal Squad was called by the local authorities at the discovery of an unknown device in the vicinity. The device was in a plastic bag and the general public had informed the police upon which they called the Bomb Disposal Squad.

The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) swiftly arrived and successfully defused the explosive device. This swift and successful action by the BDS has shown the impressive capabilities of our BDS and they have been commended by the local authorities on this successful operation. 

Authorities are still on the lookout to see who may have placed the device as it could’ve had several casualties and could’ve been fatal.
