FIA recovers human trafficked foreigners in Islamabad’s posh areas

In recent news, FIA has uncovered 7 foreigners living illegally in the federal capitol’s most luxurious locale. According to sources, The Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) of the FIA has unveiled a dark tale in Islamabad. They have recovered 7 foreigners who were being  held against their will in Islamabad’s E-11 sector. The foreigners were taken by the FIA alongside their passports and their visas had already expired. The foreigners included 4 women and 3 children.

Human Trafficking case Lodged

Sources suggest that this is a case of human trafficking. The foreigners are from Azerbaijan and they state that they were lured to Pakistan almost 4 years back with the promise of jobs with promising salaries. Ever since then, they’ve been held captive by several individuals. FIA has lodged a case against 3 individuals for human trafficking. They were found after the raid on an apartment by FIA.

Sources suggest that FIA had been following some web trails and phone calls as they saw digital traffic quite often from the flat and hence after investigating, they came to know of this heinous act and raided the apartment. Moreover, FIA has also announced that a strict crackdown will start on the alleged massage centres and prostitution dens located in the Rawalpindi and Islamabad area.
