The Pakistan Meteorological Department has stated that rain and snowfall alongside thunderstorms are to be expected for the upper parts of the country from 8th Nov to 10th Nov 2023. This rainfall and snowfall is likely to decrease the day temperature by 2 to 3 degrees celsius.
A shallow western wind is going to hit the Western parts of Pakistan and is likely to start from 8th Nov. This is going to lower the temperature further and might start after noon.
Rainfall expected for several areas
Due to this change in climate, rainfall or thunderstorms are also expected to hit several other parts of the country. The following areas are expected to be hit by it.
- Quetta
- Kharan
- Harnai
- Chaman
- Ziarat
- Qila Abdullah
- Qila Saifullah
- Pishin
- Zhob
- Musa Khel
- Sibi
- Chagi
These areas are expected to be hit by low or heavy rainfall or even thunderstorms starting 7th Nov 2023. There is also an expectation of drizzle or thunderstorm in the areas of DI Khan, DG Khan, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, and Islamabad by evening of 7th Nov.

Snowfall expected for areas of Kashmir
Areas of Kashmir are likely to be hit by snowfall during this period. Authorities also warn that there is a strong chance of the development of fog and smog over various areas of KPK and Punjab. Farmers are advised to take caution with their agricultural activities and tourists are urged to plan accordingly with the changing weather to avoid hassle.
