The First flight with 100 metric tons of critical relief materials for Palestinians has taken off from Islamabad International Airport.
Pakistan has dispatched another major relief shipment for the people of Palestine. The latest consignment includes essential items like food and medicines and is being flown to Amman, Jordan, from where it will be sent onward to Palestine. This 17th relief shipment is part of Pakistan’s ongoing humanitarian support and brings the total aid sent to 1,715 tons. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is overseeing the delivery through special cargo flights.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and NDMA Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik attended the departure ceremony. They appreciated the continuous efforts being made under the Prime Minister’s instructions to support Palestinians during this difficult time. Officials said the aid is meant to address the urgent needs of Palestinian families affected by ongoing violence and blockade. Each consignment includes food, medicine, and other life-saving supplies.
NDMA officials confirmed that Pakistan will continue to send more aid in the coming weeks, depending on the situation. They also thanked all agencies and departments involved in making the effort successful. The government said that this initiative reflects Pakistan’s strong support and solidarity with the Palestinian people. It also shows the country’s commitment to providing humanitarian assistance during times of crisis.
