Security sources on Saturday confirmed that security forces killed 14 terrorists of the Indian-backed group Fitna al-Hindustan during an operation in the Zehri area of Khuzdar, Balochistan.
The operation targeted the hideouts of militants linked to Indian-backed groups, who had been actively involved in several terrorist activities in the region. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also seized during the action. Local residents praised the efforts of the security forces, saying the operation has played a key role in restoring peace and stability in the area. Officials confirmed that a clearance operation is still underway to trace and eliminate any remaining terrorists hiding in the region.
This operation followed another successful raid in Balochistan’s Sherani district on October 1, where security forces killed seven terrorists after a fierce exchange of fire. That operation also led to the recovery of arms and explosives, further weakening the militants’ network. According to ISPR, the Pakistan Army remains fully committed to eliminating all forms of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country. The military has reiterated its resolve to bring the perpetrators and their facilitators to justice, ensuring that peace and security are maintained in Balochistan and beyond.
Officials stressed that such operations will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated. Security forces are determined to break the terrorists’ network and deny them any space to regroup. The recent back-to-back operations highlight the military’s resolve and the support of local communities who have welcomed the crackdown on militants. With increasing intelligence-driven actions, authorities are confident that the threat of terrorism in Balochistan will be gradually reduced, and long-term peace will be ensured for the people of the province.
