Lahore – The State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan has made it a compulsion for all private hospitals that are empaneled to obtain regular licenses for the services they’re providing from the Punjab Healthcare Commission to avoid suspension and operate under the Sehat Sahulat Program.
Before this, SLIC had also empaneled several private hospitals that had a license from the PHC.

However, after the recommendation of Punjab Health Initiative Management Company, the SLIC has now announced the suspension of services of the hospitals that do not have a valid license from the PHC. They had given a deadline to all hospitals of November 30, 2023. If any private hospital fails to provide a license from PHC, they risk being suspended.
A letter has already been sent to all private hospitals stating that failing to provide a certificate after November 30 will end in suspension of the hospitals and no further claims shall be catered or processed.
