The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has revised downward values of immovable properties, within the range of 10 to 30 percent of Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Bahawalpur and Gujranwala from April 22, 2026.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has lowered the official price of the immovable properties in five leading cities with fresh notifications issued on Wednesday. The relocation is in a continuous attempt to adjust the property valuation rates nationwide.
Notification S.R.O. 650(I)/2026 covers the revaluation of immovable properties in Multan, while S.R.O. 651(I)/2026 relates to Faisalabad. S.R.O. 652(I)/2026 was issued for Bahawalpur, S.R.O. 653(I)/2026 for Gujranwala, and S.R.O. 662(I)/2026 for Sialkot.
These new notifications are an addition to a previous FBR order in the case of Islamabad, which implies that the overall number of cities in which the valuation of immovable property has been officially reduced has now reached six. The revaluations will impact on property-related tax, registration fee, and stamp duty computation in these cities.
According to the authorities, the change is meant to better portray the market trends and relieve property buyers and sellers. The FBR has mandated that field offices use the new rates in all the records and transactions.
