Train tickets set to rise in price again

Police uncover a shocking crime in Swat: a mother and her second husband strangle her 3-year-old daughter to death.

Azra and Inamullah kill the innocent girl, seeing her as a barrier to their illegal activities. They wrap her tiny body in cloth and bury it inside a pot on Amankot hill. Police go into grisly details in a press conference. SP Investigation Swat says Inamullah, son of Sharifzada, divorces Azra from her husband Nasir.

Then he marries her and involves her in his activities. The duo kills the child in a Mingora hotel room and later buries it. Inamullah is first arrested by Khwaza Khela police for bike theft. They find him on CCTV and seize 14 stolen motorcycles. Moreover, in questioning, they reveal the gruesome details of the murder.

Consequently, the police are quick to act. They head to Amankot hill, following the directions from Inamullah, and dig out the pot. The medics take it to a hospital for post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Azra is now charged with her husband.

The tragic incident shocks and angers Swat people. Police pledge justice for the helpless child. Residents demand better child protection and awareness against domestic violence. Police call for tips on such cases report suspicious behaviour to save lives.
