Bangkok – In a new report, four Pakistani citizens have been arrested in Thailand for Schengen visa scam on Thursday. They were defrauding people by asking them to give them money and in return they would be provided with a Schengen visa.

However, as the reports reached authorities, an Indian official in the Thai police was introduced in the operation. He got in touch with the convicts and asked them to provide him with a Schengen visa. Afterwards, during a physical meeting with the individuals, when they asked him to deliver the payment, the police rushed in and arrested the individuals. The authorities confiscated all of their documents which included 2 Indian passports alongside 16 visa application.

They gave fake visa forms to candidates so they could fill them and take money from them and provide them with a fake Schengen visa. This is an obvious scam that is done across the world as hundreds of people get in touch with such individuals in search for better job opportunities in the west.

Also, many people fall prey to these scammers because it’s difficult to get a Schengen visa and the rejection rate is usually high.
