RIYADH – In a recent development, Saudi Arabia has imposed limitations on multiple entries to the revered Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH), as revealed on Saturday.
According to the latest information, authorities have prohibited more than one entry to Roza-e-Rasool within a single year.
Furthermore, it has been stated that access permits for visiting the Roza-e-Rasool will now exclusively be obtainable through the Nusuk or Tawakkalna App.
Officials have additionally outlined that individuals intending to visit this sacred site must disclose their COVID-19 status, determining whether they are affected by the virus. Based on this information, entry permission will be granted or denied.
It’s noteworthy that while visits to Masjid e Nabwi remain unrestricted, visits to the Roza-e-Rasool have been restricted to one entry annually as more and more Muslims want to visit the place but are unable to fulfill their wish due to congestion.
The Kingdom’s government is presently engaged in preparations for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage and it is expected that over 2 million pilgrims would arrive in the country from different regions and places for the spiritual journey.
The government of Saudi Arabia has also sought details from the airlines regarding their Hajj schedules so that arrangements can be made accordingly.
