Car, motorcycle driving license fee update for Islamabad January 2024

ISLAMABAD – All types of driving licenses are issued by the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) in the capital city territory after assessing the candidates in theoretical and practical test.

It is mandatory for all citizens to obtain a driving license before driving vehicles on roads. All applicants, who want to get permanent driving license for motorcycle and car, will first obtain a learner license after paying a fee Rs649.

Process to Apply for Fresh Driving License

After completion of 42 days to the learner permit,

After 42 days of obtaining the learner permit, the applicant is eligible to apply for the permanent driving license. The applicant is required to visit the traffic police’s designated office along with original CNIC, copy of CNIC and learner permit.

The applicant will be issued a token and asked to wait for his/her turn.

On your turn, proceed to the counter for biometric and photo.

After getting the test form, applicant will attach his CNIC copy and learner with it.

Later, the applicant will take theoretical test.

After clearing it, the applicant will be called to the traffic theme park for the driving test.

If the applicant clears the test, he/she will be given a date to collect their permanent driving license.

The ITP receives Rs1,800 in fee for car and motorcycle driving license in non-professional category.
