More than 3900 Barrels of Crude Oil Stolen by Illegal Pipeline in Dhoke Noor Dhamial

RAWALPINDI – In shocking news, a new case of crude oil theft has emerged from the main pipeline of Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) with the theft of upto 4,000 liters from Dhamial.

According to sources, an employee of POL (Shahid Ahme) and the company’s guard, Haris bin Fida, came across some suspicious activity near a plot adjacent to the oil pipeline in Dhoke Noor Dhamial.

Sources suggest that the incident took place Saturday morning when the guard and employee observed suspicious activity.

When they investigated, they discovered crude oil leaking from the site, where another pipeline was connected to a 10-inch hole in the main pipeline.

The employee of POL, Ahmed stated that the owner of the plot alongside another individual are responsible for stealing oil from the main gas pipeline.

According to Ahmed, the theft amounted to 3,904 barrels of crude oil. Afterwards, the Saddar Bairooni police have registered a case but no arrests have been made so far.

This incident is similar to an incident reported in December, 2023  when a senior official of Pakistan Oilfields Company (POL) filed a complaint with the Saddar Bairooni police.
