JEDDAH – In a troubling incident at Jeddah Airport, a PIA flight departed without 50 passengers who were supposed to travel to Islamabad.
According to sources, these passengers were scheduled to arrive in Islamabad from Jeddah yesterday as most of them were on Pilgrimage or Umrah.
Now they have been stranded at the airport and are facing various difficulties and challenges as their flight departed without them and they await assistance.
Sources suggest that they Urgently reached out to higher authorities for help and expressed their frustration and disappointment over the situation of PIA.

According to sources, the primary reason for the passengers being left behind was the limited capacity of the aircraft as there were just no more seats left.
Even though the airline tried to board them, logistics personnel refused and refrained from boarding them which resulted in this unfortunate incident.
A spokesperson from the PIA states that efforts are being made to bring them back and a special flight has been booked for them.
Furthermore, he also stated that a hotel has been booked for them temporarily while they await their special flight to Islamabad.
