Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) has assembled more than 100 units of the ‘Honri-VE’ electric vehicle (EV) at its local plant within just three months of production.
This achievement marks a major milestone for Pakistan’s electric vehicle industry, positioning DFML as a key player in the local EV production sector.
Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) has delivered its first batch of 100 locally assembled Honri-VE electric vehicles (EVs) to Eco-Green Motors Limited for distribution, marking a significant step in meeting Pakistan’s growing demand for electric vehicles.
The Honri-VE, a Chinese-made EV, is comparable to popular Suzuki models like the Wagon R, Cultus, and Mehran, with its interior and seating capacity being most similar to the Wagon R.
The Honri-VE is available in two variants:
- Honri-VE 2.0: 200 km range, priced at Rs3.99 million.
- Honri-VE 3.0: 300 km range, priced at Rs4.99 million.
With its eco-friendly technology and competitive pricing, the Honri-VE is set to be a strong contender in Pakistan’s electric vehicle market, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional fuel-based cars.
DFML’s local assembly of these vehicles is helping drive the shift towards electric mobility in Pakistan, as the country embraces greener transportation options.
