Suzuki Pakistan to launch new SUV soon

Suzuki Pakistan has generated buzz with a new teaser ahead of the 2025 Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS).

The teaser shows a covered car with sleek curves and distinctive headlamps, leading many to speculate that the model could be the Suzuki Fronx. If confirmed, this would be Suzuki’s first locally built crossover SUV in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone for the brand. The company has not officially revealed the model, but industry insiders suggest that Suzuki has been preparing to produce the Fronx domestically. The teaser provides a glimpse of its potential design, raising anticipation ahead of the PAPS 2025 event, scheduled from November 14 to 16 at the Karachi Expo Centre.

Internationally, the Suzuki Fronx comes with a 1.5L mild-hybrid engine that produces around 102 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission, offering a balance of performance and fuel efficiency. Globally, the Fronx is equipped with modern features such as a head-up display, wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital climate control, six airbags, hill-hold control, a 360-degree camera, and traction control.

However, it remains unclear which of these features will be included in the Pakistani version. Suzuki is expected to share more details and possibly confirm the model’s identity during PAPS 2025. This launch is seen as a major step for Suzuki, as the company rarely introduces completely new models in Pakistan. Car enthusiasts and potential buyers are eagerly waiting for the official reveal, which could offer a competitive new option in the local compact SUV segment.
