Ehsaas Program Interest-Free Loans for Youth in KP; Details inside

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced new interest free loans in latest bid to help youth in the country, who are facing unemployment and other challenges.

The provincial government of country’s northwestern region decided to roll out “Ehsaas Rozgar,” “Ehsaas Hunar,” and “Ehsaas Nojawan Rozgar” programs to provide financial assistance to young entrepreneurs and skilled workers.

KP CM directed instructed departments to quickly finalize the necessary Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to ensure the prompt execution of these programs.

The “Ehsaas Nojawan Rozgar” scheme will offer soft loans up to Rs10 million to eligible individuals, along with interest-free loans of up to Rs200,000 to help start or expand businesses.

Meanwhile, the “Ehsaas Hunar” program will grant interest-free loans up to Rs500,000 to support skilled youth in launching or growing their enterprises. Gandapur also reviewed the “Ehsaas Apna Ghar” initiative, which will provide interest-free loans up to Rs1.5 million for home construction, expansion, or renovation for deserving families.

This strategy underscores the government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for KP’s youth and disadvantaged families, according to Gandapur.
