Pakistan’s energy sector builds bridges at ADIPEC 2024

Top oil and energy businesses from Pakistan are set to make a lasting impact at the Pakistan Pavilion during ADIPEC 2024 in Abu Dhabi by showcasing their expertise and seeking strategic alliances.

The whole energy sector is brought together by ADIPEC 2024, which provides a great opportunity for businesses to collaborate on projects that complement new ideas and changing business models in response to the demands of the global energy ecosystem.

In order to accelerate the energy transition and advance climate action, the event promotes crucial cooperation and communication across a number of sectors, including energy, technology, finance, maritime, logistics, manufacturing, and transportation.

PIP is a key organisation in Pakistan’s energy sector, with around 550 individual members and 23 companies.

Major Pakistani firms participating in ADIPEC 2024 include Oil & Gas Development Company Limited, Pakistan State Oil, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan Refinery Limited, and PARCO.

The Petroleum Division of Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy is also backing this effort, highlighting the nation’s dedication to global collaboration and energy growth.

“Pakistani companies at ADIPEC represent both the vast potential of the sector and the high-quality talent Pakistan offers,” said Mr. Ali Murtaza Abbas, Chairman of PIP. “PIP is always looking for ways to promote Pakistan’s oil and energy industry.

In order to provide effective and cleaner energy solutions, we want to establish alliances, investigate new technologies, and promote collaboration,” he stated.

He further underlined that ADIPEC 2024 will allow Pakistani professionals and businesses to take full use of this international platform for discussion.

PIP CEO Mr. Shehryar Omar was equally upbeat about the occasion, expecting significant participation from Pakistani businesses all along the way.

PIP has supported Pakistan’s petroleum sector since its establishment in 1963, bringing together industry participants to encourage development and cooperation in the country’s energy environment.
