Even with the massive rise in inflation rates, Global database has still declared that Pakistan is the cheapest country to live in. Rawalpindi has been ranked as the cheapest city to live in and following it are Karachi and Lahore.
A list is issued by the Global cost of living database for 2023, it was concluded that Pakistan is the cheapest country to live in with regards to the prices of its daily life products, rent, rates or restaurants, and medical utilities.

The database has also declared that Rawalpindi is the cheapest city in Pakistan to live in. Second place was taken by Karachi and Lahore followed in third place.
The second cheapest country in the world to live in was Egypt and the third position was taken by India.

Moreover, the database suggests that Bermuda, Cayman Island, and Switzerland are the most expensive places to live in the world.
It was estimated by the database that the cost of living for a single family of four individuals amounted to Rs 283,689.4 with rent and the cost without rent was estimated to be at Rs 87,985.3. Moreover, the cost of living in Pakistan is almost 75% lower than that of the United States. The rent in Pakistan is also approximately 93.7% cheaper than the United States.
