Ali Sheikhani bags constable seat in US Elections 2024

As results from the US Elections 2024 come to light, a Pakistani origin man have found his way into government office.

Ali Sheikhani, who contested on the constable seat in Texas’ Ford Bend County, defeated fellow Pakistani-American Nabeel Shaikh. Republican-backed Sheikhani secured 39,936 votes against Democrats’ Shaikh.

According to Sheikhani’s website, he was born in Karachi but spent most of his life in the United States where he worked as a police officer in Texas prior to setting up his business.

Ali Sheikhani launched the Sheikhani Group in 2012 from Texas. The success of his business prompted him to set up his business in Pakistan as well.
